Our Mission

IDS was founded in 1993 to address the growing need for cost effective, easy to use, customized software solutions for business. Effective March 2000, we have changed our name from Intuitive Data Solutions to AssurX, Inc. We distinguish ourselves from competitors by bringing a high-level, strategic, and process oriented viewpoint to business problems. Leading-edge technology is often employed in AssurX solutions. However, the technology is always secondary to providing an intuitive and elegant solution to a business problem.

Our Capabilities

AssurX specializes in Microsoft Windows multi-user database and workflow applications, using either shared file or Client/Server technology. Careful user interface design featuring intuitive graphical controls simplifies operation and speeds data entry. Context-sensitive help is available to minimize user training requirements.

Our applications enhance customer value by providing links to E-mail systems, legacy applications, mainframes, automated test systems, etc. AssurX also offers two proprietary technologies to its customers:

IDS RemoteLink

Client databases can transparently share information with other sites, remote workers, customers, suppliers, etc. using existing E-mail links or dial-up connections.

IDS Universal Query

Allows our clients to ask ad-hoc questions about their data, and get immediate answers. No knowledge of programming or arcane SQL statements is required.

Representative Projects

Projects completed by AssurX include:

• Marketing Information System - This custom multi-user information system has enabled a large semiconductor manufacturer to track, analyze, and manage over $150 million in key customer accounts. The system is currently in use at the firm's US corporate headquarters and at international offices throughout the world.
• Demo Tracking System - A Silicon Valley firm uses this multi-user system to track thousands of high-value system software demonstration packages. A link to the corporate VAX lets application engineers worldwide request demonstration packages through the traditional information infrastructure.
• Corrective Action Tracking System - Our flagship browser-based product lets manufacturers track and manage their problems from their occurrence through disposition and corrective action.

AssurX Personnel

AssurX's software development team is comprised of engineers with advanced degrees in business and engineering, and experience in the areas of electronic manufacturing, marketing, R&D (software and hardware), and management. This broad experience base allows AssurX to bring a high-level, strategic, and process oriented viewpoint to business problems.
